General Merchandise Returns Update
Due to the Health & Safety of our associates & customers, UniversityPharmacy.ca will not be accepting any Returns or Refunds for any purchase made until further notice.
Returns on Prescription Medication
As per our existing policy, we do not accept any returns or refunds on prescription medication. We will take back medication for destruction purposes only.
Shipping Terms
- FREE economy shipping on orders of $75 CAD or more (before taxes and shipping) in Ontario excluding remote & difficult to serve locations
- All orders require 1-3 business days of processing time unless otherwise noted on the product page.
Shipping fees are subject to change. Orders may qualify for additional shipping charges depending on the size and bulk of the order. Customers will always be contacted before any such charge is added.
Estimated Delivery Times
Please note that the shipping times do not include processing time.
*Orders typically take up to 3 business days to be packaged and shipped from our warehouse. Please note that the shipping times indicated in the table above are calculated based on the date the package leaves our warehouse, not from when you make the order. Days are measured in business days, not including weekends or holidays.
Difficult To Serve Locations
These are certain locations which may incur additional delivery time and may be less frequently served by our delivery partners. “Difficult to serve locations” are those with postal codes beginning in A0, B0, C0, X0 and Y0 which are not considered an “Air Stage Location” by Canada Post. If, you are shipping to a postal code beginning in A0, B0, C0, X0 and Y0 which is confirmed to be a remote or “Air Stage Location” (see below for full list of remote postal codes), then your order will be subject to remote locations shipping charges, as outlined below.
Difficult to serve locations are not eligible for Express Shipping.

Remote Locations excluded from Free Shipping*
Most remote locations are locations that Canada Post refers to as “Air Stage Locations” – locations where mail must be airlifted more than 6 months of the year. Click here for a full list of postal codes ineligible for free economy shipping*. UniversityPharmacy.ca charges the following shipping charges on orders to remote locations:
- $29.99 shipping for orders under $99.99
- $49.99 shipping for orders between $100 and $249.99
- $74.99 shipping for orders between $250-499.99
- $99.99 shipping for orders between $500 and $749.99
- $149.99 shipping for orders between $750 and $999.99
- $199.99 shipping for orders of $1000+

Processing Time
All orders require 1-3 business days of processing time to be picked, packed and prepared for shipping, unless otherwise noted on the product page of the item(s) you’ve ordered.
Shipping time quoted in checkout does not include processing time.
Shipping
UniversityPharmacy.ca provides two shipping options – Economy Shipping & Express Shipping. Please note that whether you choose Economy Shipping or Express Shipping, your order will be subject to 1-3 business days of processing time in our warehouse before it ships, unless otherwise noted on the product page.
Economy Shipping
Our standard Economy Shipping is free in Ontario (excluding remote & difficult to serve locations) when your order value is over $75. Economy Shipping will deliver your package using standard shipping methods. UniversityPharmacy.ca ships using multiple delivery partners. A carrier will be assigned to your order at time of shipping.
Express Shipping
Express Shipping is a premium service available to orders shipping in Canada (excluding remote & difficult to serve locations) that is provided by our shipping partners. After leaving our warehouse, our shipping partners will prioritize your package and work to deliver it as quickly as possible.
Returns*
Our goal at UniversityPharmacy.ca is to ensure that you are totally satisfied with your shopping experience. We accept returns of unopened products up to 30 days after the date of purchase. Opened or used products, or any items marked as non-refundable are not within our return guidelines. We are currently unable to accept returns from US locations. We also cannot accept any returns from products in the following categories:
- Prescription Drugs
- Over the Counter Medications & Salves
- Breast Pumps
- Personal Massagers and Vibrators
- Nursing Clothes
- Disposable Diapers
- Cloth Diapers
- Re-usable feminine pads
- Infant Formula
- Nutritional Drinks
- Temperature-controlled products
- Compression Stockings
- Support & Braces
- Ostomy Products
- Any item with a manufacturer’s seal
- Clearance Items
- Items which have been removed from their original packaging, assembled or modified
- Any items marked as non-returnable on the product page
*Please note:
- We are not the manufacturers of the products we sell. If you have a performance and/or warranty issue, or a general complaint with a product, please contact the manufacturer at the number on the packaging.
- Medications cannot be returned due to public safety and as per Health Canada regulations.
