Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength works to relieve pain and reduce inflammation and swelling
The technology in Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength helps the gel to penetrate deeply into the skin to deliver diclofenac diethylamine to the site of pain.
Directions: Adults 18 to 65 years (extra strength): apply 2 g of gel twice a day (morning and evening) on the affected area using the dosing card supplied do not use more than 4 g in 24 hours and wash your hands after rubbing in to avoid accidental contact with the mouth and eyes.
Features:
- Concentrates relief in the joint to fight pain and inflammation for up to 12 hours.
- Contains the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, diclofenac diethylamine. Diclofenac diethylamine works to relieve pain and reduce inflammation and swelling.
- Helps to penetrate deeply into the skin to the site of pain.
- Can be applied twice daily (morning and evening) to last up to a day.
- Absorbed through the skin and creates a reservoir. under the skin when applied regularly.
- Nonsteroidal anti-inflammary.
Medicinal ingredients: Diclofenac diethylamine (2.32%).

Do not use if
- you are allergic to diclofenac, ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid, naproxen, other NSAIDs with other oral drugs containing diclofenac or other NSAIDs
- if allergic to any of the ingredients in the product
- if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy as it could harm your unborn child or cause problems at delivery
- on skin with conditions such as cuts, open wounds, rash or eczema
- in the mouth, vaginal or anal areas right before
- after heart surgery
