Pharmasave Western Plaza provides COVID-19 testing for Travel or Work purposes as well as for some eligible groups who are identified regularly by the Ministry of Health.

Testing for Travel or Work:

We provide 2 types of COVID-19 tests for Travel or Work purposes: RT-PCR Test or Antigen Test. Please confirm directly with your airline or your employer which type of COVID-19 Test they require before booking.

A)   RT-PCR Test (Cost $160 CDN + HST)

Required as a prerequisite by some countries for travel purposes or by some employers for work purposes (Please confirm directly with your Airline or Employer)

COVID-19 PCR Test Results:

Results are released within 24 – 48 hours.

Your Laboratory Test Report / Official Certificate is issued directly by our processing Lab. The Official Laboratory Test Report can be e-mailed to you by emailing your request to wpp@universitypharmacy.ca

Alternatively, the Official Lab Test Report can be picked up in person from the pharmacy within regular business hours, once results are released. A Hard Copy of the Lab Test Report can be stamped by the Pharmacy upon request and picked up in person during regular business hours.

 

B)   Antigen Test (Cost $60 CDN + HST)

Required as a prerequisite by some countries for travel purposes (Many EU countries and the US) or by some employers for work purposes.

Please confirm eligibility of Antigen Testing directly with your Airline or Country of destination

COVID-19 Update for All University Pharmacies, September 3, 2021

We hope this finds you and your families in good health. Covid-19 has created many challenges for everyone.

With the re-opening of schools and businesses in Ontario, your University Pharmacies have now returned to regular hours of operation. To keep exposure risk to a minimum, we are taking extra precautions and require all customers to wear protective masks, keep a safe distance of 6 feet (2 meters) away from staff and other customers and sanitize hands whenever possible. University Pharmacy and our pharmacies are available by phone and email during normal business hours.

Our Pharmacy Hours of operation have been updated as follows:

☆ Fanshawe Student Centre Pharmacy:  Starting September 13, 2021 we will be open 9:30AM – 4:00PM Monday to Friday only. We are closed on weekends. Masks are mandatory!

☆ Western On Campus Pharmacy: 8:30AM – 7:00PM Monday to Thursday, 8:30AM – 5:30PM Friday, 9:30AM – 4:30PM Saturday and  11:00AM – 4:00PM . This pharmacy will be open Labour Day Weekend from 9:30AM – 4:00PM Saturday, 11:00AM – 4:00PM  Sunday and 9:00AM – 4:00PM Labour Day Monday. Masks are mandatory!

● COVID-19 vaccinations (1st dose) are now available at the Western On-Campus Pharmacy to individuals 18+ who reside in London, Ontario.

● The UCC building has limited access. The only open doors are by Health Services – just east of the purple awning entrance at the bottom of Concrete Beach. Remember to wear a three layer mask while indoors on Western’s campus.
● Western On-Campus Pharmacy, which is located in the basement of the UCC, is an independently-owned pharmacy and is not affiliated with Western, the campus testing centre or future vaccination centre. It is open to the London community.

The stay-at-home order issued by Premier Ford, which went into effect on April 8 and was expected to last for 28 days, has now been extended for an additional two weeks. Due to the rising numbers of Covid-19 cases, Ontario has entered a strict province-wide lock down. To keep exposure risk to a minimum, we are taking extra precautions and require all customers to wear protective masks.
